I just realised that I haven't taken any photos since the 1st of this month. Weird. Not by choice or external circumstances, i.e. the camera is in top notch shape (and I even just updated the firmware to 2.0.3) and I've been healthy and up and about. Just not in the mood for photographs.

Well, I rectified that today, and took a few photos, might even post some soon, if they're any good.

I came back from Berlin on tuesday and have spent the last couple of days fixing up loose ends and meet a few friends. In Berlin I shot about 300 frames, met up with fellow DPC'ers Ási (asij) and Martin (shot) and looked at the available glassware but didn't buy any, even if Sigma 20/1.8 and Tamron 28-75/2.8 were really tempting.

Berlin is a wonderful city and full of interesting architecture and history. Go there if you can.

I will be in Berlin for the next 9 days, 2 days for myself, 7 days work. I'm looking forwards to this, as Berlin is a very nice city and I was there last way BC (before camera!)

Maybe I might even post some shots, if I can find a netcafe where I can read CDs or plug my laptop online.

Well, I might get lucky and find a internet connection at one of the hotels, but I doubt it, and I also doubt I will have time to use it if it's available or even inclined to go online. You need your vacation from the 'net as well as from the rest of this nonsense called Real Life

It's decided now. I'll go to Berlin late august. With about 80 ppl and my friend Martina as another tourguide. Berlin is a nice city and I'm sure I can find a good camerastore there and hopefully buy a Kiev-camera 8mm fisheye. Yeehaa.

Ok. I admit. I go on posting-sprees. Don't post anything for a while, then post many photos in one go. Live with it :)

My net-equiette is to return the favour for ppl who comment on my entries. And then some. If I see an interesting photo I'll try to comment on it. Or if I see a horrible photo, which I think I can help the photog with. Or if I'm in a commento-genic mood.

Nice and sunny again today. Took some nice photos of Strokkur erupting, will post soon.

Long day tomorrow, 11+ hrs, so I must be soon to bed. I think I'm starting to sound like an old fart, alway off to bed early. Well, a man gotta to what a man gotta do, i.e. sleep :)

No terns today, was working all day and it's foggy anyway.

Did a photoshoot for "Tools of the Trade" for DPC and now I have too many good photos, or at least, photos that I like and think will fit well for that challenge. What the voters will think I have no idea. I'm now starting to get the "feel" for DPC and can often tell that this particular photo won't work, but as to what will work well I still don't know so well, even if I got lucky once.

Back to reviewing photos.

Hmm, just noticed this feature. Not sure how it works. I've never been a diary kind of person. What else? FYI, I hurt my knee 3-4 weeks ago and am just about getting to the stage of being work-ready now. First day of work tomorrow, after a sickness break. Knee-injuries are really nasty, don't try this yourself, take my word for it.

I just realised I haven't bought any camera-related stuff now for 2-3 months, strange feeling. No, wrong, I bougth a tripod and some otherstuff end of May, so this is only about a month. Great relief there :)

I have most of the lenses I REALLY need, but will prolly in the next 2-6 months buy a fisheye. Then I prolly should buy 70-200F4L or 70-200F2.8L (IS or not) or 70-300Fsomething DO. But these things are expensive, big and heavy. And I'm broke, weak and handicapped :) But hopefully in a few weeks I'll be rich, strong and healthy :)
